SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed concerning the significant number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to here access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The services stage developed for intervention encounters a large influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to allow the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
